On last Saturday, June 20th we had a rainy day hike in the foothills near Colorado Springs. The wildflowers were beautiful with drops of rain and we saw a magnificent waterfall that you can view below!

First visit to Kurten Texas

Jamie an I were able to break away from Colorado and visit our daughter and her family in Texas. Although we have been to Texas before, the climate and plants are much different. I'm already to learn the names of plants and birds that are so new to me. We celebrated my birthday, notice my gift of a new t-shirt and visor. Go Aggies!
